↑ This is what a tracked submission looks like — the lead, tagged with exactly what brought it in.
One redirect setting. That's the whole setup.
Lead Recorder detects a submission by watching for your thank you page, not by reading inside the form itself. That means it works the same way with almost any form or booking tool, without custom code for each one.
Create a thank you page
One page on your site, e.g. yourwebsite.com/thank-you, with the Lead Recorder snippet installed.
Point your form at it
Set your form or booking tool's confirmation setting to redirect there on submission — a setting nearly every tool already has.
Submissions become leads
Every visitor who lands on that page is logged as a lead with the full source and page journey that brought them there.

Every submission carries its source
The moment a visitor arrives on your site, Lead Recorder already knows the ad, keyword, or channel behind them. That source rides along until they convert, however many pages they visit in between.

Form tracking, explained
How the redirect method works, and where it doesn't apply.
Do I need to install anything inside my form tool?
No. The Lead Recorder snippet lives on your website, not inside the form tool. You only add one redirect setting inside your form builder's own dashboard, pointing it at your thank you page.
How does Lead Recorder actually know a form was submitted?
By watching for your thank you page. You set your form tool's confirmation or redirect setting to send visitors to a page on your site (e.g. yourwebsite.com/thank-you) with the snippet installed. When a visitor lands there, that's the signal a submission just happened.
Is this really no-code?
Yes, for every tool listed below. Setting a confirmation redirect is a point-and-click setting inside the form builder itself. The only thing you paste anywhere is the one script tag, and that's a one-time step.
What if my form tool doesn't support a redirect?
Most do. If yours doesn't have a native redirect option, some let you link to your thank you page from a confirmation message or follow-up email instead — check the specific guide for your tool for the workaround.
Does it work with multi-step or embedded forms?
Yes. Detection happens on the page the visitor lands on afterward, so it doesn't matter how many steps came before it or whether the form was embedded on the page.
What information do I get for each submission?
The traffic source (the ad, keyword, or channel), the page journey leading up to the thank you page, and when it happened. It's the source and journey behind the submission — not a copy of what was typed into the form fields.
What if my form tool isn't in the list below?
The same redirect principle works with almost anything that has a confirmation or redirect-on-submit setting. See how to track external booking platform redirects for the general pattern, or read what a thank you page needs to do if you're setting one up from scratch.
