How to track Typeform submissions
Track Typeform completions by redirecting respondents to a thank you page after they finish.
Typeform lets you replace the ending screen with a redirect to a URL. Set that URL to your thank you page and Lead Recorder will capture the lead.
Step 1: Create a thank you page
Create a page on your website at yourwebsite.com/thank-you and install the Lead Recorder snippet site-wide.
Step 2: Set up the redirect in Typeform
- 1Open your Typeform and go to the Endings section.
- 2Add or edit the ending screen and change its type to Redirect.
- 3Enter your thank you page URL as the redirect destination.
- 4Publish your Typeform.
In Typeform: Create > Endings > click the ending > select Redirect to a URL. This option requires a paid Typeform plan.
Step 3: Test
Complete your Typeform as a test respondent. You should be redirected to your thank you page and see a new lead in your dashboard.
Tip: When Typeform is embedded on your website, the snippet captures the visitor's source before they start the form. That source is stored and recorded when they hit the thank you page.
