How to install Lead Recorder on GoHighLevel (GHL)

Add the Lead Recorder snippet to GoHighLevel funnels and websites through the tracking code settings.

GoHighLevel lets you add custom scripts to funnels and websites through the tracking code settings at the funnel, website, or page level.

Step 1: Copy your snippet

Option A: Add to a Funnel

1. 1In GHL, go to Sites > Funnels and open your funnel.
2. 2Click Settings (gear icon) at the top right.
3. 3Paste your snippet into the Header Tracking Code field.
4. 4Click Save.

Option B: Add to a Website

1. 1In GHL, go to Sites > Websites and open your website.
2. 2Click Settings.
3. 3Paste your snippet into the Header Tracking Code field.
4. 4Click Save.

Step 2: Set up a thank you page

Create a new step or page in your funnel called Thank You. Configure your forms to redirect there on submission. The snippet will fire on that page and log the lead.

Step 3: Test

Submit a test form in your GHL funnel, confirm you reach the thank you page, and check the Lead Recorder dashboard for the new lead.
